Whenever I start cod 4 sp or mp, I see the cod 4 splash screen then a dialog box pops up saying my system has changed, then it asks if I want to have cod 4 adjust for optimal settings (I'll post the exact message later). The thing is that nothing on my pc has changed other than then amount of disk space used. Seeing this message whenever i start is quite annoying, especially when I accidentally click yes in my haste to play cod 4. Has anybody else had this problem or found a solution?

i have also received this error a few times. I just have it start normally.
What do you mean by normally? This happens when i click the sp and mp shortcuts, as well as clicking the sp/mp button ingame.
