If you know his PB GUID.

PB_SV_UnBanGuid [guid] Unbans a guid from the ban list stored in memory; use pb_sv_updbanfile to update the permanent ban file after using this command

Punbuster for server admins

If you dont know his GUID you will have to delete the ban entry manually from the servers pbbans.dat file witch is located in the servers PB directory (you need FTP access for to do this). Log into your server and navigate to .cod4/pb/ or cod4/pb/ (.cod4 maybe hidden) open/edit the pbbans.dat file with notepad, Local/admin server bans are usually found at the bottom of this list and the ban entry for your friend should look something like this...

[Date / time] [GUID] [Name] [IP] [Ban reason]

Delete that entire line of information close the file and save the changes.

Note: It's important that when you open this file you choose edit not just open because if you just open it then edit close and save the ban wont be removed.

Could you not just delete the pbbans.dat. assuming you wanted to unban everyone ?

Thread is nearly a year old

Yes you can do that, but why would you want to.. Doing still wouldn't unban everyone as those with Global GUID/Hardware bans will still be banned.
