Hello, modders and mappers.

i just found out that i... oh well, can make maps on my own.

so i gott a question. is ther any way to make a 1 vs 2 or 3 map?

i like to play the "big bad boss" guy on multiplayer with my friends.

so something like... storm on the normandy with me on the axis side and the allies vulnerable n the open but in great numbers.

or something like "the mountain to the HQ" with HEAVY defense fo the one and many advantages for the group

also: im new to this whole modding and mapping thingie, so i dont really know how to do what. but im willing to learn ;)

also... as you might have noticed it already: im german (YEAAAH!! AXIS!! :D) so be mercyful with my grammar

yo, no-body seemed to reply to ur post so i will.. i dont know if you can have 1 vs. 2/3, but if you can, i can show you how. OK: well JUST do the teams, nothing else, i dont have time to cover all the map making stuff. so, creat a map (i presume you know how to do this, using File and New) make sure the mod name when making a map is set to Invasion of Normandy. So, go over your toolbar until you come across an icon which says: OBJECT PLACEMENT Now click it and go to the folder at the bottom right called: EBPS EBPS is placement of scenery and buildings. If you want to place soldiers or tanks, DO NOT place them from EBPS. Place them from SBPS. Now, go to GAMEPLAY within EBPS, and scroll down until you find Starting Position (1,2 ect it dont matter) From here, look near the top right and it will say Player Assignment. Choose som1 besides WORLD. Now, heres how the team works: Player1=Allies Player2=Axis Player3=Allies Player4=Axis Etc... Choose Player 1 and place it (right click) somewher on the map. Then, choose player 2 and place it far away. Then Player 3. If you want 2V1 dont do player 4's Starting Point. Now, you will also need Map_Entry_Points. scroll up and find it and place it same as you did with the Starting Positions. Make sure the Map entry is near the Player's HQ of whom it belongs to. From here, you will need to save the map. You have ALL the minimum requirments for Annihilate. If you want to do Victory Point, you'll have to add them aswell. (bottom of list) Now, at this point you CAN save, but you dont have ANY resources on the map. You can place these around aswell, but im not gonna cover that. You can now play your map can play BUT WITH NO RESOURCES, though you can still test to see if it works with unbalanced teams. You can save in the MP folder (create it in default install directory if you dont already have it) and run CoH in -dev mode. Cheers, Der Panzerjager

ACTUALLY, it doesnt work. I just tried it after i wrote the manual. OK, But here is what you do: When you play a Skirmish or Online MP game, click on one of the slots for a player and choose CLOSE. this way, on maps with more than 2 players, you can be the ONLY 1 on that certain team. If you want to create a map, create it with 4 - 8 players and close your team slots.
