Hi

i was trying to make some own modifications but i had no idea where to start, so i took an existing mod (WeaponsMod) and started to edit that one. So for fun i put the damage of a m18 recoilles rifle (the one paratroups use) at 20000 but that damage done in the game is the same as before.

I started the game in dev mode from Corsix's Mod Studio.

I also edited the name but it just stays the same.

Is there anything else i have to do?

and yes i pushed on 'save'

tnx

*sigh* Mod Studio doesn't launch mods properly, and you'll have to be fully up to date with patches.

Anyways, copy a shortcut for Company of Heroes onto your desktop, and in the target field, add the following code, replacing 'mymod' with the name of your mod *the first part of the .module file *Example = mymod.module, modname = mymod**

-dev -modname mymod

So your shortcut will look similar to... "C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev -modname mymod

lol its all practice if the name of your mod is 'my_mod' then your command line would look like this... "C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev -modname my_mod You can even use that if you want and It'll work, unless of course you installed Company of Heroes somewhere else
