Hey everyone, I've been trying to make some small chnages to unit abilities, strengths, and weaknesses in COH, but I'm new to modding, so I'm kind of stuck on this one... :confused: I want to make it so vehicles that receive an "Engine Destroyed" critical hit can neither move nor pivot. The moving part is easy: changing the modifier from 0.1 to 0 keeps them from rolling around, but the pivot thing is a little harder. I tried to add a move_enable modifier to the vehicle_engine_destroyed critical, but either I'm not doing it correctly or the modifier doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to include this modifier for my purpose. I figured another way I could do it would be to change the rotation_rate in the entity's moving_ext, but I don't know how to have the critical modify that specific string, or even is I can. I am using corsix's mod tools to do this, and so am trying to modify the .rgd files. Perhaps I should try using scar, but then again, I'm new to this whole thing. If anyone has a good idea of what I'm talking about, and has the time to give me a quick walkthrough, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
