When "installing" a new map: some of the maps are a single .sga or .sgb, others come with several files, such as a .info or .bak's or .scar, .tga, etc. Do all of these need to included in the folder too? Why do some have only a single file, and others have multiple files???? I want to start making maps myself, but I'm so new at this I'm not sure WHERE to start! Thanks in advance, Bludingutz

when u install a custom map that u have made u put all sgb and scar and tga etc files into ur mp folder under scenarios. the SGA file will go into ur maps folder. then open up COH launcher, which is a program that lets u launch custom maps, press add map, add ur map (sga file), then restart coh launcher and press start game

email me if you need further help Stickymaps@hotmail.com

Not entirely right there Sticky, there's two types of map, .sgb and .sga. .sgb maps are are a multitude of files like .sgb and .tga, these are the raw files from Worldbuilder and you need all of them to run a map, except .bak files, these are just bakup files made by worldbuilder, no use to people downlaoding them and they just take up excess space. .sga files are really just an archive of the .sgb files, and are slightly compressed. For info on installing and using them try reading the Guide to CoH for Dummies, which can be downloaded from either of the links provided below. http://forums.filefront.com/company-heroes-general-discussion/379691-lds-guide-coh-dummies-v2-4-a.html#post4602837 RelicNews Forums - [Guide] LD's Guide to CoH for Dummies v2.4

Thank you all. I've finally got it all figured out, where to put what maps, etc., as well as the CoHLauncher AND converting sgb to sga with worldbuilder -- very easy. The forums rock, do they not? Bludingutz
