well for a phew weeks now i have been working on a new mod for CoH. Terra Nova is a Science Fiction mod witch is focused on a future human civil war between the Human empire (havent got a name for them yet) and the Crusaders. I.Human Empire Fractions 1.The Marines Originating from the marines of the old United States they are humanity's greatest Hero's at least that's what the media portrays them as, it truth they are ruthless shock troopers that will stop at nothing to get the job done. they put there personal beliefs aside and fight for the greater good of the human empire. -Elite Infantry Focused on assault -very similar to modern marines in there traditions -Can drop reinforcements via drop ship right into the thick of combat (not sure possible in COH) -Uses advanced equipment Unique To the marine corps -Very phew in numbers 2.The Army Inspired by NATO troops and other joint military organizations the Armed forces are the front line troops of the human empire, recruited from all over the world they make up the bulk of the military. using cheep but effective equipment they use doctrines that emphasise on overwhelming the enemy with heavy tanks and numerous infantry. -Light infantry -Heavy tanks -Well rounded I.Crusaders 1.The Crusaders Religious fanatics they are extremely dedicated to there cause and are highly trained and equipped. the crusaders believe that it is there moral duty to cleanse the world of the corruption that is the human empire. they will fight to the last man no matter what injuries or losses they take. -on par strength wise with marines -Highly trained infantry -they are experts at gorilla tactics and ambush. -Uses High Tech Weaponry 2.Millita it didnt start on the battle field but in the homes, civilians with stolen equipment flooding the streets, traitor solders, mercenaries. they use what they can get to fight. some times with out of date rifles, or with there fist if they must. -Huge numbers. -high variety of troops -Preachers inspire the masses -Can convert army troops right of the field (not shur possible) -the more that die the more powerful they are -can spawn civilian militia from homes I have some concept art for models and am working on code, Scotzman (a modler i know from DoW moding) has agreed to provide modling assistance. this is still a work in progress but i hope i can get some support. these are three marine infantry units that i have come up with, Marine force recon and SUSTAIN are actual sections of the USMC. while SUSTAIN is just now entering its planning stages i think its appropriate to apply them to the mod. hears article by the way on SUSTAIN and the USMC orbital assault troops. I really hate to break this to ya... but without the object editor which hasnt been realeased for a while now, you wont be able to add ANYTHING model-wise
i know already, i plan to add on to models for the infantry using there animations, this should work with the Marines and the Army, but the crusaders with there cloaks that's gonna be a prob. tanks same thing except the transports gonna need some new animation. but o well I'm still going to work on this even though we don't have an object editor yet, just look at the Modern Combat mod, Great War Mod, Russian Mod, And the Vietnam mod Ps: where are CoH models located I need to get them to my modler so he can edit em.

hay i am back with somthing small but prity cool, its a custom UI for the comand tree, while its not done it shows what the comand tree selection UI may be like when the mod comes out.
