It should be cool if someone could make a zombie mod for CoH: OF like this one: RelicNews Forums - Zombie Assault - 0.2 Test Release Only problem is, this mod only works with CoH. And the mod is dead... Thats why I ask if someone can make a new one :D

Here is some info how I think it would be cool: - Axis: Axis are the Zombies, all their infantry has 3 x dubble health then the stock units also their damage is 3 x dubble. They only can kill the allied soldiers in close combat. They can make no tanks or any other vehicles and also no bunkers. Some of their infantry won't cost any cap. When a game begins there is 10 min no rush. This is because that the Allies can build up a defence. So units won't take any damage. Axis has no tanks. - Allies: They just need to defend them selves against the zombies. And they need to build faster stuff. Thats how I think the zombie mod should look like :)

Make it yourself, it would take oh, say, 1 hour to do and publish

Then learn, everyone starts somewhere I was at your stage a long time ago, to scared to learn something new that seemed impossibly hard, its easy. Just follow the tutorials that Mod Studio provides, and then just fiddle around with learning your own new things

Ok I will try to make it. Only one question: I've opened the Mod Studio and if I make a new mod there are lots of files. If I change one file will it have effect on CoH itself? Or only on the mod?

Only the mod, Changed files will have a higher priority then default files, so the modded files will be used, if the modded file does not exist in the mod, then the default file will be used. Modding has NO effect on the gameplay of the original game, unless you moddify it, which aslong as you DONT open the 'RelicCOH.module' then your fine

Start small, here is an example, im sure you can guess what changing the highlighted value does, it is REALLY that easy to make Squads stronger

Incidently, changing the value in the filed highlighted in the screenshot, already does the first step you wanted!

Axis are the Zombies, all their infantry has 3 x dubble health then the stock units also their damage is 3 x dubble. They only can kill the allied soldiers in close combat.

Here is a very rough, and quick run down of where to look.. The EBPS folder handles the blue prints of all things, if its not in the EBPS and is a physical object, then it doesn't exist ingame. SBPS handles squads, or groups of objects, a squad is made of of entitys, or EBPS

EBPS Stands for "Entity Blueprints" SBPS stands for "Squad Blueprints"

SBPS's are made up of EBPS's. A squad of riflemen, has for example, 6 troops in it, or 6 individual soldiers, that make up the squad, so if you want to increase or decrease the hitpoints of the squad members, then you moddify the Entitiy Blueprints of that squads units, in this case, the riflemen, which is what I'm doing in that screenshot.

All weapons reside in the weapon folder, and its very easy to find out how and what to mod in there to achieve, each weapon is sorted into Race and Type, so a pistol is in Race\Small arms\single shot\pistol to moddify the range, you would adjust the 'range' attribute number, to be how far you want it to be.

Its really quite easy to do, modding is not difficult, until you start making it difficult, I could do a mod, with the changes you request, in a matter of a an hour. But Im not going to, I don't tend to do requests, because I want that person to learn how it was done, to appriciate it more, and by me doing it for them, then arn't learning anything.

Ok, I've a few more questions: If I want to change a weapon of a squad ( as example allied engineers ) weapon\allies\small_arms\machine_gun\light_machine_gun\m1_thompson_smg.rgd too that, and I test it they have no weapon... also with .lua behind it they don't have a weapon. And how can I change the Squad names and the discription of it??
