I'm having troubles with installing COH OP it gets to 3% in the installation and then says the installation has been interrupted and cannot complete. Anyone got any suggestions?
im pretty sure i had this problem too, and if i did not 100% sure then i had to change my visual memory above a certain point so it would work but im not sure if this is what it was for or to run the games... sorry
I have no idea, but you could try the following.
1. Check your drive, see if you have a minimum of 10GB of space. 2. If you're running it on Steam, try de-fragging. 3. Try restarting your router, computer. 4. Try to keep open the necessary applications while downloading, installing files.
I uninstalled it a few days ago to clear room for a back up and now i've put a new hard drive in it wont reinstall! Its a full retail version, i've got plenty of space now and i'm about ready to stab something
dont do that... you might fall and brake some perfectly good games or bleed all over them... that would be bad for the geek and nerd economy!!! but for your problem i dont know, i would look at the support forums on the website or just talk to the employees...
After I installed the game (Opposing Fronts) and load it up, why does it ask for a login? I don't want to play multiplayer right now, and it says in order to login I have to keep downloading several patches? The first Company of Heroes had a regular loading screen but if I wanted to play multiplayer then I had to sign in. What's up with Opposing Fronts?:confused:
yes, no one really knows why relic wonted to piss us off with this but you do have to log in to play online at the beginning each time you load the game, but there are ways to bypass this, just look around the newer topics and i think there is 1 that tells you how.
To aviod logging in to play offline, just unplug your internet cable or use your firewall to block the RelicCOH.exe from accessing the internet. Just when you load the game up you'll need to have the DVD in the drive (the first drive or the one used to install the game with).
Thanks guys, after downloading all the current patches and creating a RelicOnline account, I login easy. Thanks for your quick replys/information.
ya my system is messed up some how and does not even ask me if i wont to log in or not, i never did anything to it to make it that way just started form the beginning... ive even tried to get rid of all firewalls (which do nothing) and still did not let me say no to logging in...
