Sys Specs. AMD Athlon 64 X2 1 gig ocz RAM (not overclocked) Geforce 7800 GT (not overclocked) Running newest Forceware drivers Running nforce4 6.66 drivers(also tried newest, but changed back, no difference in game)

After playing for about 25 minutes or so the game crashes to desktop. I have all settings to max except Textures are on "high" not "ultra", and I toned down the model detail a little. While I'm playing there is no frame rate lag or anything, runs smooth. just shuts down about the same time everytime, during different maps, skirmish and campaign.

Hmm, can I ask you, does this also occur's during multiplayer matches?

Since if not, the problem COULD be that if you press enter in single player or skirmish then it might crash. If that's not it, then I can only say that you have a good comp, and I have no idea about the problem anymore :S.

I have the same problem my Comp:Intel Core Duo E 6600, 1gb ram ATI Radeo x1900xt Gigabyte MB with P965 chipset (dunno the model name atm)

might be a problem caused by dual core processors

There is a problem with dual core processors as i discovered, for AMD use the dual core processor driver and the dual core optimizor located at http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_13118,00.html

And be sure to patch your game. http://www.companyofheroesgame.com/updates/

This solved my dramas and mine now plays ok. Good luck.

Updated All Drivers and Its still doing it..Crashes after like 10 or 20 minutes of play, again I've even tried turning some settings down, but even with everything at highest and AA on runs smoothly until crash. you can see my Sys Specs above. Anyone know of any problems with Dual Core or anything like that?.. Or how I can tell my CPU to oinly power up one core so I can try it that way..

You can set affinity to one core if you think it will help. http://forums.amd.com/index.php?showtopic=64936

Also try running memtest as ram errors will cause crashes.
