Hiya all. Ok so Ive been downloading these wonderful maps everyone has been creating for some time now. Unfortunatly I think Ive reached the qouta of how many i can have in the MP folder. How am I able to make these maps visible for play? I start to do skirmishes, and I cant see the recently downloaded maps I have. They are all in the right folder, I was just wondering if I can only have a certain amount. Feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!

Probably just have to take some of your older ones and put them in the same location as MP and SP just for holding (or somewheres else if it causes problems) and place your newest maps in MP to play them. When you want to play older maps, just have to do the ol'e switcheroo. Pain in the arse, but it would work without deleting.

Well, I only have two maps downloaded and I cant see either of them without using -dev. And when I use it, and try to play the maps, they crash. I have the Nijnmegen and the Black Forest maps and the regular Company of Heroes patched to 2.201.0

I remember Nijnmegen was broken, it seemed to crash for all users around the first enemy contact or around when a sniper was first used i the match. As for Black Forest, i can't remember anything wrong with it, however i never really played it as it lagged too much on my computer. AFAIK both maps are .sgb format, which does still require the -dev in your shortcut, although correct me if they are .sga's cus it's been bout 6 months since i touched those maps and my memory is rather rusty, especially since i've been drinking again since i got up this morning... about 1 hr ago. Yay for Australia Day!!!

I play The Forrest and The Rhine maps quite often and I do believe they are .sgb so the -dev shortcut is all you need to see them. I find them to be decent maps for testing mods done prior to all the Opposing Fronts stuff and patches.

On a semi related note, anyone familiar with whoever clears new board members over at the relicnews forum place? I registered a while back, but never got one of their emails back to authorize myself.

That's strange, i do believe it's automatic though, i got mine within a minute of signing up, however it would never accept my Hotmail account, so i had to give them my ISP email account (which is redirected to my hotmail account anyway). I'd try to sign up again, or if that fails try the forgot my password link thats usually below the login bit. My guess would be that either you email account intercepted the confirmation and discarded it as junk (which i get), or you mis-typed your email and it just accepted it. If you can't track down your account, you could always create a new one with a slightly different name.
