Is there any 3d Studio MAX tutorials on how to check what size you need to make the models to be before you import them into the game and how to make animations?

I "bought" my version of 3d studio max 6 at "the store" . But I mean, for a basic person getting into it or even someone who has been modeling for a while it really is hefty. Not to say that I wouldn't pay for it. I would pay for it if I had money to throw away. Be sure to notice that the exporter that IW gave us in the tools was not a viable option for max 6 only 5. So you'll have to do some third party exporting to get anywhere.

L337_Haxs interesting to see that you modeled the ridges into the glock. Polys could be desperately saved if you just skinned those. Not like the people will really notice when it's in their hands. I would presume that those are for HL2. The LOD meshes for guns provide that same detail, just will a hell of a lot less polys. Just something to look at. I'm sure you've multiresed and optimized the shit out of them.
