Hey, as I said a while back I am interested in modding. I have no prior experience, besides making games(not modding games in C or anything, I made games in Basic, and DM). But what do I need to get started? What's the best modelling program, I have about 3 in the top of my head. Being, Milk Shape 3D, 3ds max, and gmax. Also, what else do I need to get started? I already have the COD Radiant editor tool kit thing.

Me and a friend are starting our own mod, no information will be released anytime soon(since we are both so inexperienced, may take a few month's just to get a decent alpha version out). Although I will say we have it planned out, and are currently drawing out the model plans. We may get some help, but I doubt it most of the time when I ask for help on some big project the people will only be dedicated maybe a month and then move on, really annoying.

Just wondering, how modable is Call of Duty without the SDK being released? As I said, I am new to modding, I never did in Halflife besides changing config files and stuff. What all can you edit? I have seen some good stuff, that mod developers are striving for.. but is that even possible? Just curious to see how far I can go. I am wanting to make a class based mod, with squad work, voice chat, and experience(kinda like money, but not exactly). Are those things possible?
