I've tried making a compile program for people still having problem making their own bat files....well..it will help everyone!
This is still under development so if you try it and find some error or want some feature added please post your ideas!
Some basic instructions/info
First time you install it you will have to set some paths!!
-First CoDradiant path, browse to CoDradiant.exe and select it! -Second game path, browse to one of the game exe and select one of them (SP or MP..doesn't matter) -Third map files path, browse to one of your map files and select it
Info You can set different options for BSP, VIS and FLARE, you can choose to run only BSP, VIS or FLARE or any combination of it.
You can compile both for MP and SP (but remember to have MP spawnpoints in the map if it's MP). Select the map file in the maplist and press build. Select "singleplayer" option button to compile for SP and select "multiplayer" option button to compile for MP.
You can launch your map from CoD Builder, select your map in the list and press launch game. (select MP or SP option button to launch MP or SP game).
You can launch the game without starting a special map, if no map is selected when you press launch game it will launch without starting a map. If you launch without selecting a map then you can add a custom CMD line to the launch.
Well don't remember anything more right now....please feel free to try it out! Will try and make the final version in a week....or two!
Download here Win98 users will most likely get an dll error if installing this since it's programmed with VB6. I can make a special install for Win98 that include a special VB6 dll later but no use now when CoDRadiant doesn't support it.

Very usefull, thanks for creating this program......it just makes the process soooo much simpler! I didnt know that there was a difference in the way MP and SP maps are compiled tho :confused:

There is no difference but the BSP goes into a different folder! :p
Download information! CoD Builder 0.7 Beta released
CoD Builder EXE file only
People who allready have installed a previous working version of CoD Builder should be able to replace the exe file with version 0.7
You can download CoD Builder exe file here (144 k) save it on your local drive and then locate the previous exe file and replace it with this one
CoD Builder Full installation
People who not have this program installed should download the full install.
You can download CoD Builder full install here (4 mb) If you are downloading the full install but allready have an older installation, please uninstall the old version first! As previous versions this version might not work under windows 98
CoD Builder 0.7 Beta new features
You can get some basic information about your map file by double clicking on it in the maplist (see picture 1)
You can enable map scan before launching or building (see picture 2)
You can decide if you want CoD builder to automatically close when you launch a game from within CoD Builder (see picture 2)
When building and map scan is enabled you will get information if your map is leaking during compile, you will see a progress indicator (it does not show the time left, it only shows that it's working). It will tell you if you try and build and spawn points are missing, and a few other things. (some examples see picture 3 and 4)
When launching a game it will only allow you to launch the game type that is supported of the map! If you try and launch a map that is missing single player spawns as singleplayer it will prevent it. For multiplayer you will be able to launch those game types that are supported. If it has DM and TDM spawn only those two options will be available.
When you launch a multiplayer map you can launch it as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Retrevial and Search and Destroy.
Some minor bug fixes have also been made to previous code.
Ops! I had a small bug so it would not launch the singleplayer maps correctly! I fixed it, version is now 0.71
Both the link to the single exe and the full install are updated! (if you have allready have CoD Builder installed, just get the exe and replace the old one)
I have only made a small change in the program! You can now select the mapfile and let the CoD Builder create an arena file for you! More options might be available later but for now it's only arena file.
Select a map in the list and press map options! Take a look at the picture!
The latest version 0.75 can be found in the post that give download links to ver 0.7 (the links are updated with the new version, if you have installed this once then just get the exe and replace the old one).

hi, i got a slight problem, when i try to compile it says theres a leak and that ti cant detect the .prt file, what do i do?

As said it means that you have a leak! Check your skybox and make sure it does not have a hole in it! Make sure you don't have used a wrong texture on the sky box and make sure you don't have an entity outside the skybox!
