Hours ago, an official announcement by EA stated that not only are the original Command & Conquer and Red Alert games (the ones from 1995 and 1996, respectively) getting official remasters, but also that this project will be done by Petroglyph Games (which still has a few ex-Westwood staff members) and Lemon Sky Studios (who did the art on StarCraft: Remastered). Oh, and the legendary Frank Klepacki is back.

EA producer Jim Vessella, who spearheads the project, and Joe Bostic, designer at Petroglyph and one of the three people who came up with the idea of Command & Conquer in the first place all those years back, shared their opinions and plans for these remasters on Reddit, which we recommend you read.
