Ok, guys I need help exporting my model to CoD. I have made the Model and named it "MyM1Carbine". I have made the .xmodel file, and I have made the .gdt file using the asset manager. I opened up the converter and I get this error "Cannot find "MyM1Carbine" image files" and "Warning, no shaders found". Then the model doesn't work in game or with the Map radient. Any help?
'Cant find shader files' is a common occurence but it is not important the thing have have to make sure is that you have your textures in .dds format and that they are in the same folder as your xmodel . Let us know how you get on

I think its all right for the format to be .tga but I'm not sure and if it is better for it to be .dds then I should make it that but I can't make my image .dds with adobe photoshop
Ok, to make it .dds, do I need like paint shop pro or adobe etc.?
use paintshop or photoshop but you will need to dload plugins for em . it can be in .tga but the image has to be power of 2 ( eg. 512x512 )
Skinner thats a problem I have I cant make my picture I use to skin my weapon into .dds becuz it has to be power of 2 whats up with that??
