question- when I try to compile, it says " no collision map file for....." over and over. what does this mean, how do I fix it?

This is probably from the models! A models is not solid by itself, there must be a small map file where clip brushes are used to create a "collision mask". Most models allready have that (you can find a folder in one of the pak files, it has a folder "collmaps").

I don't know which models that give you this but not all models need a collision mask so this is not a serious error. For example a small bush does not need to have a collision mask since you should be able to walk right through it.

Check your map and see if you can walk through all your models, trees, crates or whatever...if so then maybe there is something wrong, else nothing to worry about....treat it as information not as an error.

Ok, i deleted all of my foliage....I'm trying to make a winter map, like Pavlov, and when I try to compile, it goes straight into the game. It doesn't compile anything, it just loads up the game twice and says, " could not find map". Also,....what is leakage?

I dont have a .bat file in my folder. I do have a .gsc and a .map. Any help would be apreciated

How do we add objects (stairs)? I'm a complete noob at map making. The most i've gotten so far, is a room with lots of people and guns. lol :D
