tsa_buzzkillTraxil, great work, you have quite a skill...wish I had artistic ability. If I could just make a couple of corrections though, No such thing as a .27 magnum, I think you mean a Model 27 .357 magnum based on your picture. Made by S&W. No one ever made anything in .27 caliber. Also, in your signature pic, the guy on the left appears to be holding a Frianchi SPAS 12 (I want one so bad, but my wife wont ok the $1200 price tag) but it looks like it has a magazine coming out the ejection port? Spas doesnt have a detachable mag. Frianchi made a brother to the SPAS called the LAW that was magazine fed but cosmetically different, looks like maybe those 2 guns were crossbred in that picture. I am a gun nut, so I love checking out these great models (hope you dont mind if I use them for my desktop). I collect guns and right now am working on my WWII selection. I have a 1945 Moisin Nagant M44, and a 1945 KAR98 GI bring back and I am ordering an M1 Garand soon. I also have a fascination with Soviet weapons, I have a couple of AK variants, an SKS, the moisin and a couple of Makarovs. Tons of fun to shoot. Yeah 2nd Amendment! -=TSA=- BuzZKill

I didn't make the signature pic nor is that model, but I was aware that a 27 calibre was not in existance.

Also there has to be a line drawn within what a gun can be. The fact of the matter is people are still trying to play these mods with 1 ghz computers so you have to watch polycounts. So some things don't show up right or they are just skinned in to simplify the polygons. The spas for example wasnt made by me but a professional, that little pic, from Splinter Cell, nuff said I guess.

And to Falken, you, like most everyone else with gmax is basically royally screwed. See IW assumed that everyone uses max 4 or 5 and windows xp. Hmmm, seems a little stupid since most modelers these days, or up and coming modelers I should state, are of the age of 13-18, with no less than gmax as their main editor. To boot, the asian community must be pretty pissed off too cause most of their computers run on 98 as well as a lot of North Americans that stick by it.

When I was modding for COD, for about a week, the tools came out, and guess what, I have max but...it's max 6, unsupported. After running through milkshape I was able to get it to work. Exported the model in gmax I believe as a 3ds file and then imported it into milkshape then using a third party exporter I was able to export the model. However, that seemed to be the easy part because the coding shit and ugh the abhorid game hyarchy I just said screw it, kept modeling my weapons for the next game. Problem is I need to team up with a coder, I just can't stand the shit of guess and test, especially with the lackluster, to say the least, support for the modding community like Infinity Ward/EA/DICE (not the same company btw).

So I guess if you can help me out or whatever and like coding you could PM me to help me. I guess I could teach you how to model lol. But then like the next million emails would hit my account saying that it wasn't fair. I am working on a modeling vid. As for that exporting:

Here is the link to milkshape: http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/ (just get the demo version, and if you like it buy it. Or you could make all your models before you start your trial time because it does run out and you have to buy)

And Here is the link to the third party milkshape exporter: http://www.duncanweir.co.uk/cod/tools/milk3d/msCoD_Model_Exporter.dll (There is like no real documentation beyond the fact that you just stick it in the folder with the rest of the .dll files. How would you know which one? Search for .dll in your milkshape folder. Then stick it in there, restart your version of milkshape. Load up your model then go File>COD_Model_Exporter)

****FOR EXPORTING**** YOU MUST ROTATE YOUR MODEL 90 DEGREES IN THE X-AXIS TO OBTAIN THE CORRECT ORIENTATION. ALSO MAKE SURE THAT THE MODEL SITS IN 0.00mm in and AXIS SO MAKE SURE TO MOVE IT TO 0,0,0.

http://mojo.gmaxsupport.com/Files/plugins/ExportMD3_gmax_beta1.zip

get that and put the plugin in the necessary gmax folder. Then export the file as a md3 file. Then import it in max as the md3 file. It should work.
