Will i remind you that there is already a star wars mod, 2 of them infact, Jedi Outcast And jedi Academy, both are which infact mods on the Quake 3 Arena engine, CoD is using the same engine, so ehhhh
Slightly cooler than a n00b

The only thing that would make a Star Wars 'mod' worth a crap is being able to jump in a land speeder or an AT-AT and wreak some havoc in MP. However, the COD engine just is not designed to handle vehciles in MP. Actually, why not just wait for the actual real Star Wars game to come out soon that will feature drivable vehicles, AT-At's, etc...??? This is a tired idea, sorry....and a waste of time since it is impossible to really do anything different with it except change some skins.
I'm too cool to Post

I agree, You should make this star war mod for all the star war fans out there. And also, if you don't like star wars; then just go to a different post. Also you dont need to download it so why is it a problem buds?
Ownzoring and making mods

 This idea is so cliche almost as much as the so called 'gangster' mod. Yes, Star Wars games are pretty fun in my mind, but it's pointless.
Let's just examine this, JK:JA is essentially what this mod would be. No vehicles, unless you want to waste a year trying to fix lag and shit. So why would people want to wait for something immitation when they can get the real thing? By the time you get everything just basically working on this, most people would have moved on to another better game. Let's face it, the tools laid out by IW have been less than great and you have nothing started so something like that would be a long time coming. COD is already going downhill, so why waste your time.
There also a key thing called originality. Was CS a copy of something? Was DC? GC for BF1942 had one sucessful release, that's it, it went no where. Originality gets people playing. Why play immitation when you can get the real thing. That's why a mod like Halo or Star Wars will never really be successful.
