Is it me or is the AI just on the edge of the tipsy side or fallen completely?

Allies Axis Expert, Expert vs Expert, 72nd

I just notice that the AI you are partnered with whatever faction is completely unable!

Is that a bug or is it part of the game that your AI ally is supposed to be dumb?

I mean as a player you get no bonus on resources. You need to rely on your ally for the

massive numbers. This doesn't happen. I even gave up on the DD and switched to BD!

Is it impossible to beat a double Expert? Is it my tactics?

thats why i play maps with easy to defend chokepoints, so all you have to do is hold down the enemy attacks at one point while giving your ai time to assemble and slowly attack. And unless youre with a REAL person ally , i wouldnt try against double expert ai unless youve got a couple of hours to conduct a nice see-saw back and forth style battle, seeing how as more than half of your manpower/resources will be locked for defense , leaving limited funds for attack. Try using the attack here! defend here! capture here! buttons for your ai ally , what they do is basically tell your ai friend to mass all their forces that are available to attack/spam at the point you directed them to go to. Also , the ai tends to SPAM times infinity the special doctrine specific call in units, rangers/luftwaffe ground troops, hetzers, etc., since it considers call in units to be the best for some reason. Ive had games where the ai ally won against normal aia and once in a while HARd ai, but the hard level takes a LOT of effort from you to hold the ground and give you ai ally time to mass a force to attack. Like i mentioned before , maps with easily defendable chokepoints (ex; vire river valley) work best with ai allies.

The AI spams Doctrine call-in units as it considers them the best value for money, especially since they don't require fuel, something the AI is always short of due to teching up.

I see. Thats sort of a good thing but my complaint is they just act as good as the enemy! Is it because of a program when your a player with an AI?
