Does any one out there have any idea how the match ranking system works? I see people online with 10 wins and 2 losses at Sergeant; other people have 50+ wins and 50+ losses still at a similar level. I do not see a uniform system of ranking, and it appears to have changed since the last stat reset. Can anyone shed some light? I do not brag; I am lvl 3 with about a 3/2 win-loss ratio (>30 games) as of the last stat reset. Before the stat reset I had Lvl 4 with almost equal win-loss ratio.

I don't play online much, most I got to was lvl6 before the reset but I think it takes the average of your Wins to Loses. So if you won 50 games and lost 30 it would be the same as a player with 5 wins and 3 loses. This is just my guess, I could be wrong. They may even give additional points based on the number of games played.

Its a mystery to all of us - I was lv 4 with 10-8 win loss, played 6 pairs games and won 4 and lost 2, stats reflected only 1 loss and no wins and shunted me back to lvl 3 ???

This is how the ranking system works....it goes on a system of points that cant really be checked....if u beat a higher level player like if u beat a level 8.....you get alot more points....and ur ranking would be alot higher...than if u just beat a lvl 4....get what i mean? thats why you see people with lots of games and low levels.....anyone add me if you want too on Coh..my names Nickoman12345 on it

The points system has nothing to do with it. Its a ratio of the number of games won:lost, with minimum games won:lost to get to each level.

As far as i can tell, the ranking system gives points for a win, and takes points away for a loss, and on top of this you seem to get a multiplier when having a streak, the longer the streak, the greater the multiplier for your victory points. It also seems to give more points for a win against an opponent that is a higher level than yourself, and less points for an opponent who is at a lower level than yourself.
