Whats up with all those control points? I've played a skirmish yesterday and had all the cp on my side of the river, Lyon I think.

You get hardly any resources of them if you want to build a lot, unit cap is also too low to actualy defend them all. Constantly I'm chasing the enemy thats capturing my cp, this is starting to get very anoying.

Any-one agree with me that there should be fewer cp that should generate more resources?

Its not that there are too many cp's, its just that they are too easy to capture, it goes way too fast, and trying to keep track of a million puma's and engineers sneaking around is a bitch.

Darn, I rememeber now I had to build those 'listning post' ala warhammer to defend them and increase income.

Still, I think a few less cp would keep things a lot more easier to keep track of.

Yep.

Defend/fortify them, keep a set of 'neers at them a and always have a convoy of light vehicles (bikes, jeeps, armoured cars, 'tracks) going around.

Station 57mm at every few yards and you're set.

The whole point of reducing the economy side of the game is to let you concentrate on the fighting part by making complex flanking movements, controlling the exact movement of units and using their abilities. You're meant to fight for these points and fight for territory, don't expect "Oh I captured it, I can forget about it". If you actually bother to build a observation post it increases the defense of the point at least 10 fold. They take a few tank shells or AT weapons. You should always have some units on the side to move about and protect your territory. You can always do the same thing and cap their own territory to take their attention off your own.
