what do you people think i should get counter-strike or counter-strike condition zero? i might be getting it tommrow so i need some of your reply's thank you. :D
Well, Cs is a free download and CS:CZ is a repackaged free game with a apparently crappy single player and a £29.99 price tag. Teh original CS wins :)
so are they like practacly the same in multiplayer but except the cz hasa crappy single player?

If you have Half-Life then Counter-Strike the original is free to download, and you put your Half-Life CD Key if it asks. And you only need Steam which currently is free.
Condition Zero is the same as the original Counter-Strike however you buy it and it has these features:
Single player - which you play new and old maps from the original game completing challenges and unlocking these maps.
Custom - You can setup a custom game with bots etc.
Multiplayer - You can play cscz online with other people.
Deleted Scenes - This is the storyline single player which was scrapped when Turtle Rock Studios took over.
These features aswell as the map and texture upgrades for the maps are included in Condition Zero and in Britain i got my copy for £20
my advice is get the retail CS. then you can download the 1.6 patch and play the exact same MP game that you get from CS:CZ. thats just me... but i already bought cz and thats how i know this.
well thnx you guys i got cz... well i got cz along time ago i just am gonna put it here. i love deleted scenes! it is soo tight!
In my opinion.. i think CZ online gameplay is superior over the regular cs because the graphics are so much tighter. The arm with the veins popping out is fixed and EVERY gun looks SO much better(except the m4) and the maps are redone
ok this thread is kinda old so.....*closed*
