I've made a dedicated server with amx mod, meta mod, war3 and stuff like that. It's all finished but it's just that.. no one can join and people can't see it on the Steam list.

Ports If you have an integrated firewall on your router, you may have some problems convincing your firewall to allow inbound connections. Most firewalls have a port forwarding configuration page in wich you can assign wich ports to leave intact and not to block. Most routers ask you to imput these ports in range and ask you if it's UPD or TCP or both. Here are the port followed by the type:

• 2710-27012 | UDP
 • 5273-5273 | TCP
 • 7002-7002 | TCP
 • 27020-27020 | TCP and UDP
 • 27015-27015 | UDP
 • 1200-1200 | UDP
 • 27000-27015 | TCP and UDP
 • 27030-27030 | TCP and UDP

Virtual DMZ If you put all these ports into your ports forwarding option and still people report that they can't join your server, then you need to Demilitarize (DMZ) your server. When you DMZ your server the router's firewall is no more protecting you and you would need to install a software firewall on your server such as Zonealarm or Nortons personal firewall Note: Microsoft Base Stations don't allow any external connections to your network unless that computer is demilitarized. So if you have that router, you MUST do virtual dimilitarization.

I am also having alot of trouble setting up a server with 1.6 because of steam not liking routers very much. My problem if that my server's IP is always my internal-ip (192.168.1.4) and I can't get it to change. If you also have an answer to this, please reply. Regards, Chai Bong Chop
