TenzyI found that deleting my profile from the wolfenstein directory fixed the problem , make a new profile and try again maybe? :lookaround:
The exact same thing I did on my laptop with Win200NT about a month ago and has been working fine since. Getting ready to have to do the same on my WinXP PC. Wish me luck...:cya:
I first had this problem about 3 months ago and I still havent got it fixed. Grr monkeys!
Whenever I add any Favourites it crashes on mine. And when trying to host a server it crashes. After picking out some .pk3s from /etmain folder, hosting works great. 3rd crash happens whenever after I had download a new file from server. Very irritating. But I think it's the price of a free game.. remember people it's a free game. :naughty:

I do NOT use the ET server list, never have, I use Pathfinder for ET. I've been playing ET for ages with the same hardware configuration. Recently I updated to SP2 (XP) and installed directx9.0c since then I've got the problem where ET crashes in game with a illegal memory reference error.. this can be straight after joining a server or after Xmins of playing.. it doesn't really happen at a certain time.. but it does happen in every game. I've also reinstalled ET/patches/etc but I still get the error. I believe it either has something to do with SP2 or directx9.0c. I dont want to go back to SP1 and I can't find a way of reversing DirectX 9.0c to DirectX9.0b without reinstalling windows. So I cant be bothered to find out if this is the case.
I also have the same problem, since the above updates, with MOHAA, CoD, FIFA and NFS3 among others, so I'm led to presume its the directx update...
