I'm getting REAL tired of whiners complaining about "camping" in CoD and other WWII shooting games. :moon: Some of these whiners are excellent game players but they appear to have NO CLUE about small unit, infantry tactics. Priority #1-accomplish the mission Priority #2-live to fight another day I realize this is only a game, so I don't whine about all you quick-fingered youngsters running around in the open with your Thompson's blazing--just be sure you know that you don't live long in real combat moving in the open unless your buddies are laying down massive suppressive fire on enemy positions. Prudent use of cover and concealment are the keys to staying alive and movement ALWAYS draws unwanted attention. So, bunnyhop or dash your way to gaming bliss (as my 17-year old son does when it's his turn on the PC); however, lay off the old soldiers trying to have fun too! BTW--some of you need to spend a few more hours learning to type and less on-line killing me. :nodding:

Also, if the game manufactuers didn't want camping, then they would make ways to prevent it.

Yes You know what's fun? Running around in the open and sniping the camping snipers. ;p

-------------- Hue G, I totally agree with you bud. I understand what you're saying. However for me running-and-gunning is more fun. Staying alive while having a good score is way difficult than staying alive 'camping' and scoring less. I like that challenge. I'm not a bunny hopper; I practice my ass off trying to improve my aiming, so that I can get those bunny hopping noobs airborne. I use real life tactics when I'm playing with skilled players tho. Running-and-gunning doesn't work if most peep are as skilled as you. and I'm 29 ;)

[edit]please dont double post thx[/edit]

camping is tactical and part of the game y would it be wrong? some people are poor losers, or are they just not good enough? plus campers arnt pparticuly good imean moving you generally get more kills any way rather than camping where you have to wait in one spot and then shot they people who come 2 u??? youd be 2 far behind in kills couse generally people just dont wal into your trap they turn corners, bunny hop etc., the only thing that pisses me off when people camp is when there the only one left in a game of tdm and it takes forever for the game 2 finish...agghhhhhh! anoying or wat.

Ensign RilesNo, they are suppose to constantly be on the move to avoid detection.

No a snipers job is to stay hidden and take out the enemy w/o being seen.:nodding:

CoD isnt like AA where there are many places to camp.
