I'm sure some of you out there have played the game and my question is, do you guys like it? What would you compare it to? should i get it or stick to cs: source?
Looks like you accidentaly double-posted. In my opinion, DoD:S sucks like hell, it's way too fancy for a historical game. The Source engine was abused in the making of that game, stick to CS:S if you want realism.
Ya sorry about that double post. My browser wouldn't respond but looks like it posted twice anyways. So DoD sucks, huh? It looks cool tho, what do you mean it was abused?
I dont have it for some reason I thought it was free if u have half life 2.

I actually like the game. I dislike how they removed some weapons (G43, MG34, deployable BAR, Greasegun, FG42, M1 Carbine as a selectable class) and the lack of maps ATM, but it's just plain fun to play. Machine guns can be deployed on a ton more surfaces (instead of making you go prone to deploy it), and it tends to be frantic SMG-based combat in close quarters maps or parts of maps like in the streets of Anzio. I like it more than CS:S, but neither of the two games are really realistic, are they?
i thought so too, but they're charging 20 bucks.
if you have a silver or gold HL2 package (bought directly from steam through PCs) you should be able to download the game without making any type of payment *free*.... if you bought the bronze package, valve will charge you for the game purchase.
