I was playing Dawnville S&D. I was prone at the tank near the spawn, there was a sniper next to me, next thing I know, two guys come up from behind and shoot the sniper, but run past me, I change into full auto, and in one short burst shot them both, I had a few more experiences with it, but I don't feel like writing them all, I ended the game 20-5.

Ya i know what ya mean. That is a good weapon,It has the ability to be a mg and a sniper rifle .I tend to use it alot as a emergency weapon especially if im using a rifle and someone with a machine gun runs up i just whip that bad boy out and go to town

ah yes..steam.. you must not have played Day of Defeat. Steam is Valve's new system of distribuition...They basicly shot themselfs in the nuts and lost quite a few decicated DoD players. with the release of this steamy pile of $h!^..ruined Day of Defeat for many of us.

I used to, I can't remember using the FG42 much, I mainly just played on the Avalanche map. How did steam screw up DoD? I haven't played in months.

You mean you don't know Valve? Valve is the creator of Half-Life. Using Half-Life's engines, people created great modifications like Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat (Both have been for sale and can be downloaded). When the lousy Steam pile of crap decided to merge with Valve as a distribution system, Steam messed up all the games (e.g. Slow running, game login problems, auto-kicked out from servers for no dumb reason). Because of this, many players from Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat dropped out because of that piece of crap. One of them is me. I'm actually a faithful player of Counter-Strike until Steam turns me off.
