i'e seen alot of players using the m1 garand saying its a good weapon, personally i think its an aweful weapon. first u cant reload with the weapon,u have to waste all the ammo in the clip then u can reload but u cant do it manually.second when u run out of ammo it lets out a loud BING which is fatal for you because it gives away your position and your enemies know u are out of ammo. third its not good in CQC it just cant beat an automatic weapon. well, thats my opinion but what do u guys think.
It's the best weapon in the game. I've gotten used to not reloading, and if the enemy hears a loud ping, it'll be followed up by sounds of the Colt 45.
well what if u only have 1 bullet left in your clip would u just waste your last bullet and give away your location or confront the enemy with 1 bullet in your clip. and btw its colt .45 not 45. theres no bullets that big,lol
No, that last bullet would be a headshot. And if you wanna get technical, it's not a Colt .45. It's a Colt .45 Government Model 1911.
well u put 45. but nvm lets not get into an argument. and if the gun works for u then use it but not all people are that accurate
I put a period after 45, not a decimal point :p
The M1 Garand is not difficult to use, the only thing I needed to get used to was the recoil after each shot.

The Garand is okay, but I like the carbine a little better when I am playing as American. The Garand is good as long as you have a backup like a Thompson or whatever else submachine gun you can find. Personally I like the carbine better because of the ability to reload and to me it seems a little more accurate at closer ranges than the Garand. That's just my personal opinion. I agree also that the inability to reload without first emptying a clip is a sore spot with me. This has gotten me fragged a number of times when multiple opponents heard the ping of my reloading. But most importantly you NEVER want to go into a firefight with just a couple rounds left in a weapon like the Garand.
