CSS is meant to be fast-paced, unlike some of the other tactical shooters such as Hostile Intent. Therfore, it doesn't need ironsights. I mostly used the scoped weapons anyway.

CSS is by no means realistic, but it blends realism and fun together, while being fast paced and enjoyable to play. It's more a realistic tone than gameplay realism such as ironsights and bleeding and stuff. Personally I think it would ruin CS, and it works as it is.

Then again, as far as realism goes, Battlefield 2 isn't particularly realistic but it still has ironsights. Oh well, can't have it all I suppose.

bobSagetpwnswhat is ironsights?

This Basically the backsight (near where you put your head) and foresight (near the end of the gun) on rifles and most weapons. The argument is I suppose its more realistic and a better way to aim than crosshairs, and doesn't look like you're shooting from the hip. Personally I think it wouldn't work in CS.

I've been longing for ironsights ever since I played CSS. It works in COD, I think it will in CSS. If there was, there would definately be a serverside option to turn them on/off.

yea, there should atleast be the option, but i don't think it would be to popular, the community is huge and not sure if it would go over that well, but it would bring a whole new element of learning something new, so who knows
