Im not to sure? I have been watching and spectating alot and have come to the conclusion that the PsSh is the noob gun of insanity. The PsSh has WAY to many advantages over other weapons what do you all think?

IMHO it is the best smg in the game. Historically it was arguably the best smg during the war (Thompson and Suomi were up there too). Just even the odds, if you're German kill the n00b and steal his gun - simple as that.

Well, in truth PPSh had same thing with thompson: In real life, you could only hit about 50 meters with single shots, try to shoot up to 100 meters with thompson or PPSh, there was no way to hit.

Only thing why i hate PPSh and thompson is that everyone runs around with it using prone jumps. Try to hit on prone jumpers with rifles.

And they should make PPSh and Thompson more inaccurate, like ive seen that someone hits up to view of range with thompson on mp_hurtgen by single shots, in real life this wasnt possible (believe or not).

And note: Last time when i picked up PPSh from ground, i slaughtered the whole russian team myself and got kicks from that =)

I only take the PPSh when there are LOADS of enemy snipers, then you can infiltrate the buildings and clear whole rooms fairly easily. otherwise I take the mosin, whether it's sensible or not because otherwise you are taking 'the noob gun' and people keep ON AND ON '71 rounds, noob gun' etc did the German 6th army shout NOOBs at the russians? hell no and the russian army had many units that ONLY had the PPSh because it was so cheap to mass produce.

Hell, I once cleared an entire building in Pavlov with one of these things (I was German and rifled a guy who had one).

You're totally right. In fact when the Germans came up on a cache of PPShs' they would retro fit them for 9mm - the same rounds the MP40 used. Noob gun? Only in the hands of a n00b.

Well the Thompson is deffinatly not that great it was expensive to make and not very accurate and heavier with many of its competiors. Historicaly The any of the Sten smgs were good and the mp40 but is far as american smgs i would get the m3 or m3a1 if either were in the game.

I have to disagree with the Stens. They were prone to jamming. I do agree that CoD should have put the grease guns in - but I must say the best plate steel smg was the MP40.
