Is Call Of Duty the next PB game? Posted by gumby on Friday, January 23 @ 22:41:57 EST (0 reads) Blues News posted the following tonight on their home page: "We know concerns about cheating are a big issue in the fan community right now, so we wanted to pass along the following update: Infinity Ward has signed a deal with Even Balance to include PunkBuster for Call of Duty." Even Balance had no information regarding the PB integration into Call Of Duty on their web site, so we'll all have to wait and see what comes next. Source: http://www.punksbusted.com

Not really...Sof2 has punkbuster but still have hackers :(. But I herd that they don't have aimbot crap on COD.

I think you have to look at Punkbuster on a game by game basis. Not all games have the same engine/ problems/ etc.

yes. your right. All depends on how and the way the game was created.

I'm all for it, but after doing some checking there are a million work arounds for PB if you have the know how. While PB will stop the dummy who goes to a website (lol like how dumb can you be) Downloads some hack then runs it like they say in the README file. I won't stop the big boy cheater clans and the good old boys who make their own cheats. Hey don't get me wrong I've been wanting this and still do! It will make our job of catching cheaters alot easier and we can focus on the "good ol' boy network" Where insiders tell us that most hack makers are waiting for the update. These insiders are also who gave us the scoop on some of the leagues and clans who have members with a double life on the hacker side! Just a note to the cheat testers..... Be warned they steal your CD key when you run the cheat! Also other info. which you agree to give by using or downloading the cheats! We were able to upload a few trackers into some MOH hacks at one time until the Cheatsites caught on to our sabotage scam! Stay away from .EXE files be safe! PLAY clean! AND yes lets give it a chance! WE plan to let PB in on every work around and hack we find public and private! With a little help from our sources we may just be able to stop 99% of it! WE HOPE!

When I played RTCW on a regular basis, I used to log on servers with PB and pure settings only and never saw any suspiciious signs of cheating so PB works great for RTCW- but as said earlier, it doesn't work the same for all games, I heard BF1942 might be getting it implemented. Would like to hear CoD do the same.

Well, CoD is based on the RTCW engine, so I'm hopeful.
