what would people think of a map where at a random point a tank would appear, pass through slowly guns blazing, then either stop at a selective point or leave. Now the panzerfaust would be limited so you would have to save it in case a tank appeared. The idea would be to force players to prepare and strategize some for the tank. It would also limit the use of panzerfausts as anti-personal. For example, the map would only provide 4 pzfs, but it would take 2 to down the tank.
Now I've been asking for a level that includes a tank, it would be great :D:D:D:D

cool idea aslong as they go diffrent places on the map and stop might stop the 1 man running around killing everything and make u use team work. just to add an idea how about if u run out of rockets then an allied tank comes on the map and blows the german tank up and then a plane comes blows the allied tank up if ya could do that it would grear
There was a map like that in the game I played before CoD, RTCW. The tank drove through the streets of the town and randomly fire its cannon shots, effectively simulating mortar shelling on the map. It took 2 Panzer shots to disable the tank, or if you were lucky enough to stay alive long enough and could figure out how to get on top of it(it was tricky, you either had to time the jump off the ground right and not get run over or you had to drop onto it from a building) you could plant explosives on top of it and destroy it. It was a great map.
As an addition to the teamplay factor, for the tank to come out, one of the teams had to open the garage it was in by flipping a switch. Depending on which team flipped the switch, determined which area of the map the tank patrolled first. i.e. if the germans opened the garage, the tank patrolled the the west side of the town first(where Allies spawn); if the allies opened the garage, the tank patrolled the east side of the town first(where germans spawn). The tank would eventually patrol the whole map, but getting the tank out for your side could give your team an early advantage in the battle and force the other team to play around the tank or deal with it(in which case they helped you too). Often, the most pivitol battle was the first one over control of the garage, which had nothing directly to do with any of the map objectives. It was a great map and very popular in RTCW.
I don't think its possible in CoD multiplayer without the source code, which IW isn't releasing. Not quite sure, but pretty confident about that one.
It would be pointless. All it would do is distract from the initial gameplay.

yea i think it would rock......i rember in mohaa someone hooked that up.....it would roll down the one side of the map it was cool go for it dude
