I only saved the island.cry and GameData.pak files before editing the Island map and now I cannot restore the terrain to not show bright white. I have tried putting the stock files mentioned above back in, using Reload Terrain, disabling Shadow Maps, setting the Config Spec to Medium, increasing Page File and reinstalling the SB2 editor. This is NOT merely a terrain texture problem as the choppers and one AI I placed in the map are still there despite my putting the stock island.cry map back in. The mp Shore map shows fine. I believe one person here whom said the entire map folder rather than just the .cry file by the same name need be saved to assure a backup copy. Thus, I need to reinstall the Island folder located at C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Levels\island. The file size is around 140MB but zips to about 120MB. If one of you could host it somewhere like Filefront (free uploads) it will save me from downloading the whole 2GB demo again. Thanks

Why didn't you keep the install? I keep every installer I get, or at least I copy them to a CD.

I'm uploading the island file right now, but try not to mess it up again. I don't save people over the internet twice. :p If I did this thing right, it should give you a good copy of the island map. I just hope that the game itself will accept it.

island.rar - FileFront.com

Thanks SB, I'll keep a lookout for it, you saved my bacon. :bows: You will be the first to hear mention of this modded map once I'm finished. I plan to add manned machine gun nests around the usable chopper for more challenge stealing it as well. John, I have two drives with only 69GB actual on each and keep them under 85% capacity for good defragging. I should have saved that Crysis SP Demo installer to disc, though when I deleted it I had no idea I would take up using the Sandbox2 editor, which is easier in some ways than I thought but also can get pretty complicated depending on how much AI scripting you do.

Actually still waiting for SB to upload it, but I don't want to rush him. It's also not really my map, just a modification of the demo map. The helis are a hoot to fly though and it will make the map more action intense.
