im going to buy a new computer soon and have been trying to base it off of the crysis hi res requierments BUT i cant seem to find them any ware PLZ help. if you dont I know ware you sleep at night JK

Well, I can play on high/very high @ 1280x1024

Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz 2gb Corsair XMS2 DDR2800 8800GT OC 512mb

sweet its only $1200 i found the graphics card for $430 so it will play on very high or just high but i still dont know what directX is but it sound important

Should play on very high, and the GTX is designed for high resoloution gaming, so you could play at a decent res. Directx will be installed on your computer when you install crysis(or any game for that matter), dont worry about that.

:eek: only $1200. o what i could buy with $1200. my new comp can play crysis on high and it only ran me $612, that and id recommend just the regular nvidia 8800 gt, its only 1/2 the cost

i agree, dont waste your money on a GTX, or even a quad core, just get a high-end dual core, and a factory OC'd GT.
