Similar isn't the same. You obviously saw your computer somewhere, so where? If your building it yourself, then where did you research the parts?

Its second hand, its not a detailed description, and its only 450... And he doesn't even know that 7.8Ghz CPUs dont' exist... Thus stay far far far far away. Build it yourself, or design it and have someone build it for you, its cheaper, faster and more trust worthy

I think when he says 7.8 Ghz, he is adding up all the cores... Also check out the Futureshop computer I linked above. Is it good for Crysis and other games and worth the 470 bucks? Thanks alot

Yes, he is adding up all the cores, but that isn't how its done, a 3.0GHz Dual Core is 3.0Ghz...end of story! It is not 6.0Ghz

But no, that futureshop PC won't do it. Your best/only bet if you want to be a gammer is a custom built or custom designed PC. Post in the Tech Discussion area, they will help you there

that futureshop computer will do the trick for you ONLY if you upgrade the GPU after you buy it

Serio;4491485It might be good, but it's also the most expensive card in existence. And it won't work well with games specifically made for Nvidia cards.

Which card do you actually mean here because the Nvidia 280 GTX is the most expensive card there is at the moment Not that the ATI 4870 X2 is much cheaper mind!

i am amazed at the amount of ignorance displayed on this forum. the cheapest card which can play Crisis decently is an Nvidia Gforce 8800gt 512mb.

right now the best price/performance card on the market is an ATi HD4850 512mb, it can be had for $170 and performs about 80% as fast as Nvidia's $280 GTX260.

you can get an ATi HD4870 or a GTX260 for around the same price ($280) and they perform equally.

if you really want to go all out the fastest card on the market is an ATi HD4870 X2 which is around 30-50% faster than the GTX280 which is around the same price
