It gets really tiresome going to mod forums or official game forums, have the goddamn forum be up for like 3 minutes then have someone registered and within 2 minutes he spams the whole forum with questions about him being in the beta because he's the #1 fan for registering early and having 100 posts in less than 5 minutes of the forum's existence. I don't care about post counts but it's all too fucking common to have people pump their post count in the high 100s or even 1000s just so they can say they're loyal fans and betas, alphas, prizes or whatever can be given to them. Then the people with low post counts call the high count posters spammers and the high post count people say shit like I contribute unlike you Mr low post count. Forum supremacy must die :furious:
yeah! i agree. *looks at his post count* omg! im one of them high posters too :'(
I remember that shit with the tactical-ops mod for UT.. the earlier registered people thought their opinion matter more than newer registered people because they played it longer.. when I was on there, no matter what I said it was "yo I was 1.3, respect". Little did they know that I had the very first version of it for review for the website I worked for.. they shut up after that.. fucking twits.. it's a bunch of pre-teens that think a post count is what makes you important. Here, that shit doesn't float.. I look at it as a level of participation, but other factors are always in consideration.. such as how much did that person spam to get that high, etc..
