Hey yall, im having FPS issues big time i run a decent computer and CS has no reason not to run 80-100 FPS all time. my specs P4 ~3 GHZ XP X3870 512 MB PCIE 2.5 gigs of ram now i know this computer should run at 100 cause my other two which are at teh below do. Amd 3200 ~2.2 GHZ X850 Pro 2 gig run at 100...

Have you checked how much space you have on your Hard Drive? That happened to me once before, lowering frame rates through the roof, and not even starting the game.

Massive fire fights, when playing any downloaded map. entering a building and having combat in there.. and not even having combat in there i lag. my Hard drive is currently at 63.5 outa 185 GB's

Hard Drive memory seems fine, I don't see a problem there although, have you tried De-fragging Counter Strike Source?. I think you can right click the game on the steams list and go to the options menu, were you then can see Defrag.

Install the latest drives for your video card and always play on OpenGl mode. Remove the vector sinc also.

I had this problem some time ago and I used the Defrag method, it worked here, so I advise you you should try...
