Hey ive looked through all the threads and noone seems to have the same problem as me. When i load up either generals or zero hour, it starts juddering like E-E-E-A-A-A GA-GA-GAMES, well you get the idea. I dont go beyond that point as it takes about 2 minutes to get to 'challenge everything' I have an athlon xp 3200 400mhz fsb 1024mb ddr400 128mb geforce fx 5600 with 56.72 whql drivers installed. 80gb 7200rpm hdd with 8mb cache with 16gb free on my programs and windows partition and 27gb free on my data partition. I have an Audigy2 soundcard. Ive recently defragmented both partitions and its a newish reinstall of windows xp home. I know its not my spec as it worked perfectly up until recently. My mobo is asus a7n8x deluxe btw. I had been tinkering around with my bios settings to get better performance but returned all settings to normal after many failed attempts at a stable faster comp. I tried using older versions of nvidia drivers, ive also patched zero hour to 1.02. It is a cracked version of the game but then it was before so what could be causing it? Also if anyone could tell me the 'perfect' bios configurationm for my spec i wud be V appreciative. Cheers to any who can help in advance. Jamie

Its ok i had some virus problem when i reinstalled windows and i think they may have corrupted some files that are needed. So i reinstalled windows and took more precautions than usual to install everything and double checked everything i did. It now works fine and all is rosie with the world again i love c&c zero hour.
