As the title here says.I was doing lots of testings lately for DC and saw that even 1 squad of specific race can wipe out almost entire army of the other race that is good against. First I did SM vs. IG. The Ig can be preety dangerous for the SM in early stages because of their **** loads of plasma upgrades but when SM reach tier 3 IG dont stand a chance.Not even with its most powerfull weapons.Once the SM manage to pull out their Terminators and upgrade them with Assault Cannons, IG die like flies.Even their tier 3 infantry die with no trouble. Is there a way to counter this ? :beer: Second was SM vs. Eldar You all know how Banshees at early stage become upgraded with their fancy blades and its a little way too buffed that one squad can have up to 8000 hp. I tried to use even assault space marines but...with no luck.The moment I got Terminators with Assault Cannons not even Banshee squad coulnt not come near my Terminators.Assault Cannons sliced and diced banshees and any other Eldar unit without any trouble at all. I am asking this questions because I want to know how to prevent this from happening if I play any other race against SM.

Generaly, thats what a Machine gun does, rends things... However I would recommend charging aline of SPACE MARINES with close combat weapons. Unless you were a manic depressive or Orks. Try using Dark reaper squads to kill them off and flank with banshees. Guard always works wonders with grenade launchers. I believe I destoryed a rusher with 3 squads of guard all with grenade launchers. The knock down effect is amazing while it knocks the banshees over they get left behind while the others move forward. About 1-2 banshees get into combat but get killed from Guardsmen lasgun range so I always give my Guardsmen grenade launchers. I leave the Heavy weapons for tanks and Weapon teams.

Countering termies:

SM: Your own termies. Eldar: Fireprisms. Knockdown ftw. Chaos: Possesed and spawns. Orks: Anything with a knockdown. IG: Grenades. Tau: Firewarriors with their range. Crons: Monolith. More knockdown then any fireprism can dream off.

Countering banshee's

SM: Sniper scouts. Bye Bye morale. Eldar: Rangers. Fireprisms. Chaos: Heavy bolters. Orks: Wartrak with some nobs. IG: Grenades. Lots of them. Tau: Firewarriors with their range. Kroot for backup. Crons: Monolith.

Thx guys but now I a new problem has emerged.You know how many people think that Kasrkins suck ? Well I ran into them against some guy online. I had about 4 Sm squad armed with plasma guns I think.He had 1 Guardsmen squad and 1 Kasrkins squad with plasma guns and a priest.I killed Guardsmen with ease but come on....1 Kasrkins squad to take down 4 SM squads ? I know that priest boosts attack by 2 marks but wtf.....This was a rather small custom made map...hardly for any vehicles to make.

Since when has sm tier 3 been better than ig tier 3?

If you find the assault cannons are beating you then just tie the squad up with any unit, say a teleporting unit, failing that just get a decent anti infantry vehicle.

He of had the Preist holy ability on, where they become immune to damage for a few sec's. Or you could of been dancing with the units or just the other player having terrian to there advantage.

No no no I was directly in front of him.He had no cover bonus and he didnt use holy ability.I saw....usually I notice that glow on priest when he uses his ability.Man those Kasrkins do have a long range for their hell guns and their plasma guns do have a longer range then any other weapon.And with a priest I mean wtf...major attack bonus which is ridicelous.2 marks I think.Anway who cares...Neyt time Ill eat his weak kasrkins with me termie autocannons which bwt have longer range then grenade launchers from IG so that theory is out.:bawl:

ermm this won't help but....KASRKINS RULE THEY PWN FAVORITE UNIT!!!!WOOHOO!!!!!!!!:deal: i have a way to beat them unfortunately...wither use another kasrkin squad with grenades and priest either use krone beserkers with chaos lord attached ..and for SM well..get a hell fire dreadnaught or some snipers...

Hell yea....Kasrkins are also my favourite unit in whole damn game.They really pwn anything..Just because they dont look buff and big makes ppl think of them as they are weak ROFL.Ignorants.I know that tier 3 units serve as a massive destruction weapon against tier 1 and 2 inf and heavy infantry but... Since orks use swarms of sluggas a Kasrkins squad once managed to kill about 5 squads of sluggas that were fully upgraded...so thats 8000 hp per slugga squad.Lol..Kasrkins dispatch any inf & heavy inf really fast...:rofl:

umm close combat? one preist couldnt kill 4 sm squads... and karskins.... like 15 cc damage?
