Gauss_Flayeryes, i read that. I know the necrons come from the monolith. I UNDERSTAND THAT! that isnt the problem, and ill bold this one so that focus can be put on it. THE NECRON UNITS NEED PARTS!!! THIS WOULD ACT AS SOMETHING LIKE WAAGH!!! WHERE DOES IT COME FROM, HOW DO YOU HARVEST IT!!!

Sigh.....they don't need parts.Parts come from Necron units who die.You harvest parts from the dead bodies. It works much the same way as kroot eat the remains of dead bodies(though the reasoning still hasn't been explained).

if what you say is true, then that means that you can send endless amount of necrons to there death, and make bigger units afterward... Im just going to leave it at that cause it is going nowhere. I was watching the monolith video and any other videos including the necrons, and i have only seen about 4 different buildings: The monolith, the forbidden archive, a plasma generator, and what resembled a listening post. Will the necrons have turrets as well?

i was looking in the tau codex, cause on table top i collect both necrons and tau, which happens to be why i like this next expansion so much. Anyways, i was reading an i just read that they are a really savage race, and the tau respected them in that way, and thats why they are what they are. (at least why thy arent tau soldiers or part of the fire caste.)

Well the tau hope that the kroot will see the errors to there ways and become more civil, like that will happen!. i think the kroot will get harder as they eat more dead bodies in the game. Example if they kill a space marine unit and eat them they will know how to kill them a bit more quiker and powerfuller. As for necrons i would of thought the monilth would be more than one but could telaport because on TT all they are, are tanks that go around blasting everything and telaporting troops in not the Hq

1 thing i want 2 know is if the monolith is the main hq building like chapel barracks, on a destroy enemy hq mission, u send the monolith out and it kills stuff and then gets destroyed by a land raider, does that mean the necron guy is dead?

i think the whole necron tech tree will be a whole new experience for us as there proberly wont be many buildings and only needing power :|.... as for building troops from the monolith it migh just be a few units not all of them

thats a tuff question thats why i dont think the monilth is a hq building because that would be a bit gay if you send in to fight and it dies form close combat or a land raider..
