So you get three rhinos, and when they die? Which they will, then what? You gotta go back to your base, make them again. Send them to the units you need transported, and by that time, some noob is dropping on your base.

That's quite alright. I understand where you're coming from. I'd like bigger maps as well, but imagine a map so huge that you spend entire minutes crossing it. It'd have to change to be a meta map or something. Parts of one single map and you build bases as you move along.

Bah, most of you don't know what you're talking about. So let me give you a piece of my mind :P I'm 26 years old, so I had the chance to see strategy gaming (as well as other type of games) practically grow from scratch. I still remember the days we used to play Warcraft (sigh). Sure, a lot of things changed since then. Now we have insane graphics that require insane systems, distortion and heat bloom effects, interactive terrain, etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. After all, it wouldn't hurt for a a computer game to look good, yes? Unfortunately good looks has its price. Most of today's games are nowhere as fast paced as those in the past. C&C3 has terrific graphs, bu it doesn't have StarCraft's playability or strategy value. AoE 3 is pretty cool, but not as interesting as Dune. The list goes on. But DC is kind of an exception to this. Even after all these years it still looks beautiful (what other game is there that you can zoom-in enough to see the facial expression of your soldiers?). Not only that, it has incredible playability, awesome replay value, a very interesting theme, and a pace which rivals that of SC's. All in all, it's super-duper. I recently began playing Universe at War. It's graphics are spectacular, yet it cannot begin to think of dreaming even in a remote way to perceive coming close enough to be near DC. So be careful what you wish for. Beauty is not everything. I for one don't mind if Relic creates further expansions. DoW 2 (if it ever gets around) may be heart-stoppingly beautiful, but what good is that if it's just another good-looking strategy?

Well, I agree. Completely. Graphics are not everything in a game. DoW is just really amazing. I don't know why but it's the only RTS game I actually enjoy coming back to any day.

yeah agree with you. graphics are not important for DoW but it is important for other games, like Crysis :)

I've never played Crysis, I stopped being obsessed with video games a while back, and with other more important things to spend money on, a good PC or a 360 wasn't on the list.
