To be honest, only mods I ever liked were TTRU and Ork swarm. They add few units unlike LotW, but TTRU makes it for TT oriented and Ork Swarm makes it fun to just slaughter orks. FoK and LotW are good, I tried them. But they get boring after the first game for me. Sure all the new units are cool in LotW but that's it. It's just a bunch of new units which makes the game not so fun. And FoK is so annoying to gather resources in. Currently I'm playing TTRU and I've been playing it for a good month or so. And I've still to get bored of it.

the annilation mod for DoWDC is good cept u might wanna wait til the next ver comes out since its fun yes but it needs some balancing(ie imp guardsmen killing orks in meele lol) but it does add new units and such and makes the ai harder to kill(dont put it on hard lol ul die in like 3 secs) but other then those flaws(witch have been promised to be worked out by the maker on hte next ver) its a badass mod

Interesting...... for me mods can be both ways, they can be cool, and they can be frustrating

Lol, if a mod is frustrating why play it? What mod btw? I found FoK to be frustrating with the resource. And I found TTRU to be frustrating because of how easy units died and stuff. I'm not much for TT so I can't really enjoy it as much as other people who have some experience with TT.

Depends weather I want a serious game, or just some fun. Like right now, as I'm staring at the falling snow, I'd prefer a more important game, so I'd probably disdain from mods, except maybe for dowpro.

But if I just want to goof around with friends.....

Mods do get boring eh! I thought I was the only one who thought so. Good good. TTRU was the longest mod I played, almost a month. But I always miss vanilla DC.
