Ok I had a idea on the games workshop website in the eldar section thiers a picture of a big wraithlord with a cape and sword, With that in my mind things started rolling through my mind, mabay we should change some wrathlords in game to look like that one. When I say some I mean random spawned wrathlords can come with swords and axe's and normal fists as well as some can have capes, and different styles. As in armour and I want to make the guns to shoot even in melee and turn around like a the predetor's gun. Feel free to list things like killa kans Dreadnaughts defliers Tau Krootox's and tho granted a necron lord is not a big unit per say but mabay you can choose a upgrade that allows him to be on a hover thing. For example Please i cant stress this anof please list DC unit changes like I mentined along side of other warhammer 40k games :band:
Well I think all units should have randomization in apperance, though the Axe thing, Wraithlords don't have axes, they have Wraith blades and their fists for melee, and I think they should allow them to have the wraith swords, and add Wraithguards, and all units shold have the randomization for sure
yeh this game definatly needs some serious randomisation i mean the IG have a lil like wear and tear on their flak vests and such or some have rebreathers fitted to helms but as for Eldar, Sm and the others ive noticed no variation in there armors at all and with having this variation would make the games atamosphere very different.. p.s Sage im sorry for personally attacking you with some sort of unrelenting vigor and i hope i havent harmed you mentally at all . my reasoning for this is that i just felt you were boycotting something you knew nothing about and it would appear you have a decent knowlage of the imperium and its workings but please try to keep an open mind of it and its varying popints of view
Yes random more weapons like tt would be nice as for wraithlords they have bright lances and starcanons they dont have a wraith sword that would be cool.Necrons have a skimmer variant its called lord destroyer but it would be nice if it had more powers like the nec lord. The killa kans in the computer games r a mix of ork drednought and killa kans from tt they have 2 arms instead of just one so that covers the ork dreadnought for the games. There r a few mods that r trying to make it like tt and if u join relic forums thats were all the mods r and u could see all the new units the mod teams r doing and play the beta versions of their mods.
You are forgiven Ironman, as for all the general changes I would want: Randomized appearances More weapon options A better army painter, perhaps something the lines of: select color, select piece you wish to color, so you can customize better, and maybe an in game banner/badge editor MORE UNITS those are the main things I want that don't go into core gameplay:D
yeh gameplay atm is really good i dont mind it at all but i really think relic was lazy with the lack of options given to all races and the amount of variation in them i mean all they did for assault marines was put a jetpack on a tac marine. oh and anyoone who wants a good mod that has a decent amount of wepon opstions for all races and a fair mix of variation between units download the DOW.DC fires over Kronus mod its really good and its only a beta atm :deal:

Uhm, aren't the ingame representations more or less accurate representations of the actual models? Sure there could be more variation, but well consider the age of the game by now and the amount of content that is already present.

Getting in a badge isn't exactly very hard. And to be honest, I sometimes actually even find the amount of some units to be superflous. And more units would only worsen this.
And for the record, I prefer the 3rd edition Wraithlord to it's 4ed counterpart.
the only advantage the new wraithlord has over its predecessor is it's made of plastic i have 2 metal wraithlords that have a habit of falling apart :(
Agreed, plastic is much more user friendly, especially since keeping them together is no where near as much as a bitch, and conversions are infinetly easier, since all you really need is a knife and some green stuff=p
upside of metal is that it holds more detail
