Hey I would like a good balanced Tau start up strategy for a non-rush balanced play style. Thanks in advance.

i usually go for 4 builder drones, 3 stealth teams, 3 fire teams, 1 squad of vespid and a commander.

To me thats all a little expensive :uhm:. I would go 2 builders (more later), then 2 stealths, 2 firewarriors, a generator, full lp2's (first upgrade for listening post) and then tech to t2 for tanks/etc. :nodding: If rushed, lp2's should protect u and u could always make a commander or more firewarriors with the extra req being collected...

I go

builder 1> barracks hq> builder >ss>ss>jet

builder 2 either assists builder1 or goes to build gen

after rax is done, builder 1 assists on gen from builder 2

ss1 and ss2 cap points, which the builders then lp

rax either fw, kroot, fw or kroot, fw, kroot.

mind making a bit more sense? If you need yo say something like this, at least post it into the tau discussion threads. And it's not great even there.

The tau are nice, and I had some 1400 from casual playing with them, but I would never ever call them superior.
