The long quote, came from wikepidea. If you never heard of it before it's because its wikepidea's own shorten summary of the book.
Tookey;3343051Wow, guess there's alot more to it than just the games.. But where does the Dark Crusade storyline fit in all of this? Does it take place after og before then?
If you ask me, dawn of war and DC, not sure bout winter assult, both are present era because the blood raven, I thought, were a made up chapter for the use of DOW. However you could argue that since that the tyriad haven't been mentioned yet, it could be several hundred years before DC.
I would suggest that in the teaser which we are served after finally beating the DC campaign, the planet is bombarded by Tyranid hive spores. That would be some hint as to the next chapters of the DOW story.
i have completed the campaign many times in dark crusade and wondered about the 2007 - three planets video. i think i have worked it out. in the uk, the new eldar codex has been released and in the book it details the eldar armies and their history etc. on page 47 it tells a story of the eldar home world which has long been lost and forgotten. but it goes on to tell of the MOONS of this planet. ALL THREE OF THEM. it says that the first moon is greenish and dim and the eldar called it KURNOUS! sound a bit to similar to KRONUS to be wrong and lets face it the other rases may have debased the orginal name. the second moon is caled ELDANESH and is RED! just like the second world we see in the video! khaine the eldar god of destruction killed a great eldar hero called ELDANESH and sent him to the sky and the moon is a reminder of his bloody death. The THIRD moon is LILEATH and is, get this, OF PUREST WHITE! JUST LIKE THE THIRD PLANET WE SEE IN THE VIDEO! this seams all to right to me to be a just a COINCIDENCE. maybe a campaign expansion or DOW 2 is based on these three eldar moons, and a fourth planet being a last chapter kind of level or map? what do you all think?
wOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW I haven't finished yet the campaign (only the necron to kill) and if you're right with what you say, i think you have discovered the extrabonus mistery hehehe, if thi is right it's going to be cool
Well well.... A piece of good tinkering there. You may be correct. By the way, I've to buy the new Eldar Codex yet, but I'm sure looking forward to it.
oooooooooooo very nice.
Nice Detective Work!
Nice reasoning, but the conclusion is very unlikely. This is probably the "Coincidence" GW had setted up so people can have something to talk about.
I didn't make it!
Dude that would be sweet. But it's probably unlikely that they would put in something like that that you could so easily guess. Well, maybe not easily, i dunno. Seems like the best theory I've heard so far. Either way, i heard some people wondering whether it was a new game for something else, but it's definetly Warhammer. You can see the characteristic EYe of Teror in the background. Someone said they saw a fleet of Tyrnaid ships in orbit and they thought they were bringing in the Nids. While that would be really cool, i have watched the vid twice, and STILL dont see a thing. It's kinda vague right now.
