hey there ppl me again this time with another thing i find annoying. im sure you,ve all beaten the DC campaign multiple times and im sure you've seen other armies going on mad rampages.:eek: For me when i first started i was playing as the tau and the Spacemarines just conquered all of the north side threatening my provinces.:uhm: yesterday i was the orks and the IG killed the necs i was thinking wow thats a site to see.:eek: Today they went on a freakin killing spree they moved from the necs to the SM killed them then moved the the tau captured pavonis and are threatening the HQ of the eldar as i speak.:eek::eek::eek: Has anyone have this sort of problem i think its because instead of going through a specific mission like the player they play a normal skirmish.
well to tell you the truth, every time I've played the campaign(3 times so far) the ig comp is really an ass kicker. They took out SM and CSM 2 times and the 3 time even attempted an assault(failed) against the eldar. However I never liked the fact that, once you beat an enemy stronghold every enemy you attack has 2 bases. It makes the game extremly difficult on hard settings when the enemy units are stronger than yours.I hope that this will be revised in Soulstorm
I am currently playing an ork campaign and the only races left are IG Eldar and orks, the IG has defeted necrons, and sm's the eldar defeated chaos and I have so far only taken out the tau
Yep guess what guys the eldar have been killed so its just me (orks) IG, and chaos.

when a army that i can take care of real easy (eg orks vs imperial guard) when the guard go on a killing spree i just skip my turns :sleep: and build up req. then when there done they've taken care of the races that require effort to defeat :bows: and it just makes my work a lot easier. :p
yea but wheres the fun in that theres just one race left.
Well at least you get the ending.... And things aren't exactly easy, especially the TAU stronghold.
yeah, you're right about that. I think the Tau stronghold is the thoughest of all. Countless stealth teams, Hammerheads, Skyrays, firewarriors, crisis teams, kroot and vespids all over the place. And let's not forget the fw bodyguards who can turn the whole field into a killing ground. But that is why tau are so cool because they are though to beat ;)
I find that a big mek attached to a nob squad ideal for taking out stealth snipers in the tau strong hold just love that teleport ability he has as well as the detection of infiltrated units.
Yeah, right now Im trying (Key word) to conquer the Kronus with the CSM on hard, Ive got control of all the southern regions, but those damn Necrons are entrenched past the space port. Niether of us will give ground and Im starting to think its going to end in a stalemat :( On the flip side, I love the metamap! This is like the best idea for RTS games. Instead of campaigns which become repetive and boring, they should go to the metamap. It would be sweet if they broaden this game to a metauniverse, where you can conquer a world then move on to others. Maybe even make it online, where a server is a world that is always in play. You could make alliances, take over the world and then protect it from new players or attack other worlds. just a thought.
