aite fellas i wanna see your creative sides (not in a creepy way) i want as many of you to make up a story for DoW, as many stories as u can For my story, i would like to see the Imperium create another *Ordo*, the Ordo Anniuhlaitus, the branch of the imperium in charge of massive, massive invasions, extermanations, ext. The main military force for the Anniuhlaitus is the space marines, but totally new chapters. the primarchs of the chapters begin to preach heresy in secret to the space marines. eventually the space marines of the anniuhlaitus begin to tell some imperial gaurd these dark secrets. eventually, the Anniuhlaitus completely rebels against the imperium, but doesnt join chaos. they create their own faction called the *Angel Hunters* they quikly ally up with the tau, and combine thier weaponry with tau weapons. So then Angel Hunters would be their own indivdual faction, with ex-space marines and ex-gaurdsmen making up their ranks with deadly weaponry and supported by their tau allies. the angels hunters use their beefed up fleets to destroy entire planets, and attempt to strike at the heart of the imperium...

The best i could tihnk of is the back story behind my Ork army. The Warboss comes from a long line of hitch hikers, all with bleeding massive thumbs, see. It helps with work. Except he was born with a massive power klaw instead. He was thrown out of the family unit, and went in search of others with his affliction. He eventually started a massive Waagh! based off hitch hiking, urinating like a powerful mule, singing songs about eels and generally being a cockney nutjob. He slices left. He slices right. He's like connect four, only in Choppa terms. Anybody who has ever seen the MightyBoosh may just realise that my Ork army is led by the Hitcher. Oh yes. That's my 2 minutes worth of nonsense out the road, and that said i quite like your idea. Somewhere in between chaos and the empire would be interesting, seeing as not everybody detests aliens and technology or wants to light the galaxy on fire and drink its blood.

A small mind is an healthy mind.. So: Mankind exterminates all that is not "Mankind" over the Galaxy once for all (including alluring tendrils, strange ghosts and dreams, weird things and all the likes). The Emperor is happy and wakes up again just to tell us "That's ok, guys!". End of the story.

Let's try a different approach. Why not try to actually write a short story? If the idea gets of the ground, I promise I'll chime in. :)

As the flares illuminated the front like christmas lights on a tree i shivered in the cold damp air of the night. My regiment had been sent to the front to "Disrupt the enemy advance" which was quite a nice way to put hold the line against superior numbers of Orks. Suddenly i heard that mundane sound again, Boom, Boom, Boom the sweet relaxing sound of the bassilisks firing off into the black. The whitesheilds of our company were filling the 3 trenches infront of mine how i felt sorry for those poor bastards they were only a little over 16 and have very little combat training but there they were standing firm against the walls of the trenches like little toy soldiers from some sickly boardgame not nowing there fate. Booom, Boom, again those guns fired and i felt even more secure as surely those orks as stupid as they were big wouldnt advance through all that flak. I unsheathed my bayonet and began to reminisce with it in a strange way as if i was actually talking to another human being. My platoon was made up of reminents of the earlier battles, Battles which were ment to be short and decisive according to HQ intel on enemy numbers. Those pen pushers were dead wrong so to speak we lost alot of men, alot of good men. Then i noticed something those mundane explosions of security had stopped, everything had stopped even the owls hooting and the crickets chirping. Then that ominous sound to veterans could be heard clanking, shouting, gun shots and finally that ever present Waaaggh yell that echoed in and out of the cramped trenches. I attached my lasgun and presented it for the enemy across the dead land of grey rubble and smouldering wreckage. I noticed the whitesheilds fumbling and scampering through there trenches like cockroaches evading the light. Then those far to familliar silhouettes appeared from the black lumbering like souless beings hellbent on death and destruction. Half of us would be dead before this night had ended.......
