Well, it's been three expansions since vanillla DoW. Five more races, new campaigns, units, and even planets. But there are some things in DoW that just never seem to want to go away.. Number one on the list is.. The Chimera with the BT axe through it. I'm pretty sure I saw it somewhere in DoW. It's in the beginning of the WA campaign and in Kronus. Number two on the list is.. The Blood Ravens, every other race gets a different army in every game. Except these bastards who never seem to want to go away. Number three on the list is... Those statues you never seem to notice, but they're there. Those huge statues of Space Marines and what not. Number four on the list is... The intro movie for DoW. It introduced DoW, and it seems to think we still like watching it after beating three other expansions. Number five on the list is... Gorgutz. I'm not completely sure, but I think he was in DoW vanilla. Probably wasn't, but eh. He was in WA, DC, and now he still manages to get away in SS. My hat off to you Gorgutz. That's all I can think of at the moment, and I'm out of time. I'll add more later.

lol at wolfs avatar pic.

how about the fact that almost every race i have killed in SS (Eldar with the orks for example) the last Eldar territory i took had the farseer in it.. even tho she ahd run through the webway. WTF is that all about..

How about in vanilla that no matter how many times you played it, on mission 2 or 3 where you have to take out the Bigmek with sniper rifles, if you play it on anything but easy you cant do it? or was that just me..

My best classic DoW moment is...

One of the first times I played, I played as Chaos, due to their awesome name.

I was struggling against an ork opponent on standard difficulty (hehe...), until I decided to start making vehicles and whatever that daemon pit was. I summoned my first bloodthirster on my sorcerer, and in awe watched him float up into the air as evil energies flowed around him. I was taken by surprise when the sorcerer decided to slam into the ground creating a large spray of blood. My feelings multiplied in intensity as I saw a large battle axe wielding demon burst out of the blood with what seemed to be a sort of evil passion, which was suited for the killing machine appearance that it had. I ran it towards the enemy base and enjoyed one of the coolest gaming experiences I've had in a long time.
