Huh? I thought the Intro was the best ever with alot of action (that is, if you meant the game intro and not the campaign intro)

The Campaign intro was better then DC's because it didn't just jump to "all these races are landing on this planet" it explained the story of what happened then it said why the races came.

For the normal campaign, yes there are a bunch of 1v1 missions, but that was like DC, which in order to get the spoils of war you had to conquer territories to get them with entirely different objectives. Sometimes this was fun, sometimes it was boring. For example, if you wanted the forward base asset you had to destroy EVERY building on the map, this would lead us to scavenge the map in search of buildings, which got really boring.

TBH I liked Soulstiorms spoils of war better, because when you conquer a strongelhold you get more then just a dead race (which by then would probably have been weakened) and a load of req, you get a asset as well.

And Deepstriking Squads+Honor Guard=T0 army

believe me Soulstorm did get things right, it's just the long loading times and bugs screwed it over.

I'm sorry, but I still can't get myself to believe that every single race in the entire universe would just randomly land on one planet at the same time.

Well, it's highly unbelievable but if it were just a few races than you wouldn't get all the different races to play as. Which would make it less fun. I think they need to go back to the old method of putting all the humans on one team, that at least makes sense.

Winter Assault had the best setup in my opinion. Because it made sense and you could play as multiple races.

yea winter assault was way better than ss, i just cant seem to wrap myself around the armys of the emporer all fighting each other...it just doesnt work like that in 40k, at least not with the experiance i have with it(its more than just dow games btw) and i am not a fan of the meta map style, period. i think that one of the earlier posts got it right, it should have been set-up with multiple missions for each race and and different story lines for each race, then u would still have all the races available for mp, but it would make the campaign/replay value alot higher imo
